941. Augustus Jackson⁸ BARTON (Isaiah⁷, Robert⁶, Robert⁵, Penuel⁴, Ebenezer³, William², Edward¹) was born in Bowdoinham, Sagadahoc, ME 2 December 1856. Augustus died 3 August 1938 in Kingston, Rockingham, NH, at 81 years of age.

He married twice. He married Harriett FRENCH. Harriett was born 21 November 1858 in Cherryfield, ME. Harriett was the daughter of Lewis FRENCH and Mary GAY. Harriett died 7 October 1914 in Ipswich, Essex, MA, at 55 years of age.⁽¹⁰⁸⁷⁾ Her body was interred 10 October 1914 in Ipswich, Essex, MA. He married Nellie Isabelle NOYES. Augustus was a merble worker when he joined the Masons in 1918.

2089 i. Augustus Jackson⁹ BARTON was born in Gloucester, Essex, MA 9 November 1887. Augustus died 16 May 1964 at 76 years of age. He married Charlotte A. TOWLE 7 October 1916 in Hartland, VT.
