He married Elsie Cecelia DURYEE 27 November 1879. Elsie was born 2 July 1860 in Millers Station, Crawford, PA. Elsie was the daughter of John J. DURYEE and Lydia Matilda THOMAS. Elsie died 19 January 1940 in Sherman, Chautauqua, NY, at 79 years of age.
