He married Edna PATRICK 06 February 1936 in Upwey, Victoria, Australia. Edna was born 05 March 1916 in Moonee Ponds, Victoria, Australia. Edna was the daughter of Ernest PATRICK and Elizabeth Sarah WIFE OF ERNEST PATRICK. Edna died 6 August 1998 in Frankston, Victoria, Australia, at 82 years of age.⁽²²²⁹⁾ Her body was interred 11 August 1998.

Aitchison Grieve BARTON and Edna PATRICK had the following children:
