He married Clara Elizabeth WATERMAN October 16, 1890 in Westboro, MA. Clara was born 5 July 1867 in Brookline, Norfolk, MA.

Fred was employed at as a Brocer Butcher.

Fred was a meat cutter and grocer owning his own store on Milk Street in Westboro.

Fred BARTON and Clara Elizabeth WATERMAN had the following children:

+ 3603 ii. Clifford Nourse BARTON was born June 6, 1893.

3604 iii. Leslie Raymond BARTON was born in Westboro, MA January 20, 1897. Leslie died August 8, 1957 at 60 years of age. He married Margaret WIFE OF LESLIE BARTON.

He resided in Huntington, WV 1942. Leslie was a seaman listed on many vessels including the Leviathan and Uraguay.

+ 3605 iv. Avis BARTON was born May 20, 1898.
