He married Edna Nancy GANGE 29 September 1919. Edna was born 30 November 1898. Edna died 3 July 1989 at 90 years of age.

Ralph OBAN and Edna Nancy GANGE had the following children:

5340 i. Lucille Edna¹¹ OBAN was born in Loyalton, Edmonds, SD 17 June 1920. Lucille died 11 July 1999 in Rock Hill, SC, at 79 years of age.

5341 ii. Ruby R. OBAN was born in Loyalton, Edmonds, SD 8 February 1922. Ruby died 15 July 2005 in Circle Pines, MN, at 83 years of age.

5342 iii. Mildred Elizabeth OBAN (still alive).

5343 iv. Ralph J. OBANJr. was born in Loyalton, Edmonds, SD 19 May 1925. Ralph died 3 December 1999 in Tucson, Pima, AZ, at 74 years of age.

5344 v. Louise OBAN (still alive).

5345 vi. Wilbert Vern OBAN was born in Loyalton, Edmonds, SD 5 May 1929. Wilbert died 27 April 2005 in Hot Springs, SD, at 75 years of age.

5346 vii. Virginia Luella OBAN (still alive).

5347 viii. Joyce LaVerne OBAN (still alive).

5348 ix. Vernon Richard OBAN (still alive).

5349 x. Sharon Louise OBAN was born in Loyalton, Edmonds, SD 29 December 1942. Sharon died 29 December 1942 in Loyalton, Edmonds, SD, at less than one year of age.
