548. John A.⁷ BARTON (Alpheus⁶, Timothy⁵, Joshua⁴, Samuel³, Matthew², Edward¹) was born in Rodham, Jefferson, NY 24 April 1803. John died 5 July 1878 in Peoria, Franklin, KS, at 75 years of age.

He married Delinda FERRIS 16 June 1829 in Manchester, Dearborn, IN. Delinda was born 20 May 1807 in NY. Delinda was the daughter of Isaiah FERRIS and Lucinda CROUCH. Delinda died 22 November 1882 in Peoria, Franklin, KS, at 75 years of age.

John A. BARTON and Delinda FERRIS had the following children:

1327 i. Alpheus⁸ BARTON was born about 1830.

+ 1328 ii. Lucinda BARTON was born 25 November 1832.

+ 1329 iii. Fanny BARTON was born 1 October 1835.

+ 1330 iv. William BARTON was born 22 March 1838.

+ 1331 v. Melissa BARTON was born February 1843.
