936. Abigail G.⁸ BARTON (Edward Plaice⁷, Robert⁶, Robert⁵, Penuel⁴, Ebenezer³, William², Edward¹) was born in Vinalhaven, Knox, ME 4 January 1847. Abigail died 5 March 1918 at 71 years of age.

She married Joshua W. AREY 25 September 1864 in Knox Co., ME. Joshua was born 9 August 1839. Joshua died 28 January 1887 in at sea, at 47 years of age. Bride and groom were called "of Vinalhaven" in the marriage record.

Abigail G. BARTON and Joshua W. AREY had the following child:

2088 i. Annie F.⁹ AREY was born 1861. Annie died 1875 at 14 years of age.
