He married Temperance FOBES 7 November 1846.⁽¹⁴³⁸⁾ Temperance was born 31 January 1825 in Wayne, Trumble, OH. Temperance was the daughter of Justice (Justin) FOBES and Philotheta THORNTON. Temperance died 12 January 1904 at 78 years of age.
