He married three times. He married Pluma ROBERT 5 September 1844 in Trumbull, Trumbull, OH. Pluma was born about 1826 in Ohio. Pluma died 12 February 1859 in IA, at 32 years of age. He married Priscilla MCCULLUR 1859 in Mecca, Trumble, OH. Priscilla was the daughter of Annison MCCULLUR and Eunice CHAFFEE. He married Huldah DAVIS 1873 in NV. Huldah was born About 1846 in WI. Huldah died 6 February 1900 in Tie Siding, Albany, WY, at 53 years of age.

The 1852 Iowa census on page 30 and page 12 records him as being in Oregon, Washington, IA. He is found in the 1880 census in Nevada with three younger sons from an apparent 3rd wife.
