3905. Fredrick August¹⁰ HIERSCHE (Zada⁹ BARTON, Uriah Samuel⁸, Joel⁷, Jonathan⁶, Timothy⁵, Joshua⁴, Samuel³, Matthew², Edward¹)⁽²³⁴⁰⁾ was born in Elwood, IA 13 April 1866. Fredrick died 13 January 1942 in Mankato, Blue Earth, MN, at 75 years of age.

He married Mae Lidia CROSWELL 10 April 1889 in West Side, IA. Mae was born 16 September 1862 in Springwater, NY. Mae died 30 May 1943 in Mankato, Blue Earth, MN, at 80 years of age.

Fredrick August HIERSCHE and Mae Lidia CROSWELL had the following children:

+ 5000 i. Edgar P.¹¹ HIERSCHE was born 2 April 1890.

+ 5001 ii. Mary Permelia HIERSCHE was born 12 April 1892.

5002 iii. Vera Sue HIERSCHE⁽²³⁴¹⁾ was born in Beaver Creek, MN 15 February 1893. Vera died 20 January 1980 at 86 years of age. She married twice. She married Carl A. BERGGREEN 20 March 1923. She married Melvin R. GILLETTE 19 November 1964. Melvin died about 1970.

+ 5003 iv. Issie Leone HIERSCHE was born 15 August 1895.

+ 5004 v. Mayme Alice HIERSCHE was born 3 June 1898.

+ 5005 vi. Mable Frances HIERSCHE was born 3 November 1900.

5006 vii. Hazel Adeline HIERSCHE was born in Luverne, MN 16 July 1903. Hazel died 11 March 1956 in St. Peter, MN, at 52 years of age. She married Raymond J. KENDALL 22 May 1948. Raymond was born 5 October 1897 in Washington, LeSueur, MN. Raymond died about 1993 in St. Peter, MN.

+ 5007 viii. Lois Elizabeth HIERSCHE (still alive).
