She married John BABB 12 November 1844 in Des Moines, Polk, IA. John was born 12 November 1821 in PA. John was the son of John BABB and Susan MILLER. John died 16 April 1903 in Spangle, Spokane, WA, at 81 years of age.

Marilla BARTON and John BABB had the following children:

2768 ii. John Porter BABB was born in Franklin, Des Moines, IA 5 August 1848. John died 8 July 1863 in Franklin, Des Moines, IA, at 14 years of age.

2769 iii. William Henry BABB was born in Franklin, Des Moines, IA 9 June 1850. William died May 1912 in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada, at 61 years of age. He married Hannah WIFE OF WILLIAM H. BABB.

2770 iv. Edmund Burke BABB was born in Des Moines Cnty, IA 20 February 1852. Edmund died 27 August 1853 in Des Moines Cnty, IA, at 1 year of age.

2771 v. Ellen Almira BABB was born 1 December 1854. Ellen died 9 July 1944 in Rosalia, Whitman, WA, at 89 years of age. She married Austin Linn FULLENWIDER 1876 in Kossuth, Des Moines, IA.

2772 vi. Clara Ann BABB was born in Mt. Pleasant, IA 8 July 1859. Clara died 16 October 1927 in Portland, Multnomah, OR, at 68 years of age. She married Richard SIBLEY.

+ 2773 vii. Hiram Elsworth BABB was born 15 February 1863.

2774 viii. Mary Jane BABB was born in Kossuth, Des Moines, IA 13 November 1866. She married Charles Morris MECKLEM 10 May 1891.

2775 ix. George Washington BABB was born in IA 4 July 1868. George died November 1940 at 72 years of age. He married Etta Verlin LONG.
