She married Wylie Samuel MCCOWAN 20 January 1902 in Pretty Prairie, Reno, KS. Wylie was born 1879. Wylie died 29 September 1947 in Pretty Prairie, Reno, KS, at 68 years of age.

Nellie Arizona BARTON and Wylie Samuel MCCOWAN had the following children:

4105 i. Ralph A.¹⁰ MCCOWAN was born in Pretty Prairie, Reno, KS 31 December 1902.

+ 4106 ii. Alvida Mae MCCOWAN was born 9 August 1904.

4107 iii. Faye Elvira MCCOWAN was born in Pretty Prairie, Reno, KS 23 March 1906. Faye died 17 January 1997 at 90 years of age. She married Earle WHITE 16 September 1992. Earle was born 23 January 1902 in KS. Earle died 28 January 1994 at 92 years of age.

4108 iv. Nannie E. MCCOWAN was born December 1907. Nannie died 29 January 1972 in Memphis, TN, at 64 years of age. She married Edward Frank MOHS 29 August 1925. Edward was born 16 May 1900.
