551. Enos Erastus Henry Hood⁷ BARTON (Alpheus⁶, Timothy⁵, Joshua⁴, Samuel³, Matthew², Edward¹) was born 5 March 1810. Enos died 1 December 1890 in Canton, Benton, IA, at 80 years of age. His body was interred in Shellsburg, Benton, IA.

He married Permelia HASKINS 24 July 1831 in East Cattaraugus County, NY.⁽⁷⁰⁰⁾ Permelia was born 26 February 1813 in Ticonderoga, Essex, NY.⁽⁷⁰¹⁾ Permelia died 4 January 1888 in IA, at 74 years of age.

He obtained a 2nd patent 20 September 1839 in Monroe county described as the northeast quarter of the southeast quarter of section seven in township two in range five in the district of lands subject to sale at Marietta, Ohio and consisted of 42.15 acres of land.

1333 ii. Laura J. BARTON was born in Ohio 1 August 1836. Laura died 1836 at less than one year of age.

+ 1335 iv. Rachel Caroline BARTON was born 17 February 1841.

1336 v. Enos Erastus BARTON was born in IL 22 January 1843.⁽⁷⁰²⁾ Enos died 3 May 1863 in Millikens Bend, LA, at 20 years of age.⁽⁷⁰³⁾

+ 1338 vii. Nancy C. BARTON was born 27 May 1847.

1339 viii. Alonzo R. BARTON was born in IL 21 November 1849. Alonzo died 16 December 1867 at 18 years of age.

1340 ix. Venzuella E. BARTON was born 14 February 1852. Venzuella died 22 July 1855 at 3 years of age.
