1813. Alvira⁸ BARTON (Benjamin⁷, Isaac⁶, Isaac⁵, Jedediah⁴, Samuel³, Matthew², Edward¹) was born in Vernon, VT CA 1812.⁽¹⁵⁷⁹⁾ Alvira died 14 July 1876 in Springfield, Hampden, MA, at 64 years of age.⁽¹⁵⁸⁰⁾

She married Mortimer POTTER 24 February 1845 in Gill, Franklin, MA.⁽¹⁵⁸¹⁾ Mortimer was born about 1821 in Leyden, Franklin, MA. Mortimer was the son of David POTTER and Sally WIFE OF DAVID POTTER. Mortimer died 20 February 1875 in Deerfield, Franklin, MA, at 53 years of age.⁽¹⁵⁸²⁾

Alvira BARTON and Mortimer POTTER had the following children:

3278 i. Ella⁹ POTTER was born in Greenfield, Franklin, MA 2 May 1848.⁽¹⁵⁸³⁾

3279 ii. Benjamin B. POTTER was born in Greenfield, Franklin, MA 22 September 1850. Benjamin died 27 August 1875 in Gill, Franklin, MA, at 24 years of age.⁽¹⁵⁸⁴⁾ Ben was called single at his death.

3280 iii. Stephen Olin POTTER was born in Greenfield, Franklin, MA 15 August 1853.⁽¹⁵⁸⁵⁾

3281 iv. Cordelia Ann POTTER was born in Leyden, Franklin, MA 6 November 1857.⁽¹⁵⁸⁶⁾
