705. Jeremiah⁷ BARTON (Jeremiah⁶, John⁵, Caleb⁴, Samuel³, Matthew², Edward¹) was born in Andover, Windsor, VT 16 February 1796.⁽⁸⁴⁸⁾ Jeremiah died 18 December 1879 in Rockingham, Windham, VT, at 83 years of age.⁽⁸⁴⁹⁾

He married Sarah WETHERBEE 30 December 1823. Sarah was born 29 March 1800 in South Reading, Windsor, VT. Sarah was the daughter of Hezekiah WETHERBEE and Lucy HALE.

Jeremiah was listed as the head of a family on the 1850 Census in Rockingham, Windham, VT. The following individuals are also linked to this event: George BARTON (household member); Sarah WETHERBEE (household member); Sarah BARTON (household member). Jeremiah is a farmer and Innkeeper at the 1850 census. The property was substantial with a value of some $10,000.

1698 ii. May BARTON was born in South Reading, Windsor, VT 1 February 1828. May died 5 May 1833 in Grafton, Windham, VT, at 5 years of age.

1699 iii. Sarah Elizabeth BARTON was born 27 March 1830. Sarah died 29 February 1832 at 1 year of age.

1700 iv. Sarah BARTON was born in South Reading, Windsor, VT 30 January 1833. She married Michael LOVELL 12 February 1852 in Chester, Windsor, VT.

1701 v. George BARTON was born in South Reading, Windsor, VT 10 January 1836. He married Lucy Augusta MORRIS 4 November 1861 in Chester, Windsor, VT. Lucy was born about 1841 in South Reading, Windsor, VT. Lucy was the daughter of Henry MORRIS.

George was listed as the head of a family on the 1870 Census in Chester, Windsor, VT. The following individual is also linked to this event: Lucy Augusta MORRIS (household member).
