He married Lucy Root CUSHMAN 29 April 1852 in Bernardston, Franklin, MA.⁽¹⁶⁰⁶⁾ Lucy was born 20 April 1828. Lucy was the daughter of Ralph CUSHMAN and Sally ROOT. Lucy died 20 January 1907 in Greenfield, Franklin, MA, at 78 years of age.⁽¹⁶⁰⁷⁾ Her body was interred 22 January 1907 in Bernardston, Franklin, MA.⁽¹⁶⁰⁸⁾
