He married Olivia GRANT 18 June 1851 in Charlton, Worcester, MA.⁽⁹²⁷⁾ Olivia was born abt 1835. Olivia was the daughter of Thomas J. GRANT. Jacob was a shoemaker.

Jacob BARTON and Olivia GRANT had the following children:

1800 i. Francelia⁸ BARTON was born in Charlton, Worcester, MA 2 August 1851.

1801 ii. William Arthur BARTON was born in Charlton, Worcester, MA April 1856. William died 14 June 1856 in Charlton, Worcester, MA, at less than one year of age.⁽⁹²⁸⁾
