719. Asa S.⁷ BARTON (Rufus⁶, John⁵, Caleb⁴, Samuel³, Matthew², Edward¹) was born in Andover, Windsor, VT September 11, 1799. Asa died 19 July 1871 in Ludlow, Windsor, VT, at 71 years of age.⁽⁸⁶³⁾

He married Lynda CHASE August 1817 in Tisbury, MA. Lynda was born 29 December 1801 in Tisbury, MA. Lynda was the daughter of Thomas CHASE and Desire LUCE. Lynda died 27 September 1844 in Ludlow, Windsor, VT, at 42 years of age.⁽⁸⁶⁴⁾ On sn Wesley's death cert she is Linda Lawrence born at Mt Holly, VT.

Asa was listed as the head of a family on the 1850 Census in Ludlow, Windsor, VT. The following individuals are also linked to this event: Ralph A. S. BARTON (household member); Horace L. 1732 i. Louisa E.⁸ BARTON. She married Isaiah PARKER 20 August 1860 in Cavendish, Windsor, VT.⁽⁸⁶⁵⁾ Isaiah was born 4 February 1832. Isaiah was the son of Isaiah PARKER and Betsey WHITCOMB. Isaiah died 28 July 1864 at 32 years of age.

+ 1733 ii. Horace L. BARTON was born January 13, 1825.

+ 1734 iii. Wesley BARTON was born August 1827.

+ 1735 iv. Ralph A. S. BARTON was born 25 May 1829.

1736 v. Richard L. BARTON was born in South Reading, Windsor, VT about 1831. Richard was listed as a brother in Wesley BARTON's household on the 1880 Census in Ludlow, Windsor, VT.
