She married Daniel Sheffield HEMENWAY December 5, 1822 in Ludlow, Windsor, VT.⁽⁸⁶²⁾ Daniel was born June 21, 1795 in Ludlow, Windsor, VT. Daniel was the son of Jacob HEMENWAY Jr and Hannah SHEFFIELD. Daniel died August 31, 1870 in Ludlow, Windsor, VT, at 75 years of age. His body was interred in Ludlow, Windsor, VT.

1726 v. Daniel Dana HEMENWAY was born in Ludlow, Windsor, VT.

1727 vi. Rufus Nelson HEMENWAY was born in Ludlow, Windsor, VT 19 August 1823. He married Sarah Jane WESTON.

1728 vii. Abbie Maria HEMENWAY was born in Ludlow, Windsor, VT 07 October 1828. Abbie died 24 February 1890 in Chicago, Cook, IL, at 61 years of age. Abby resided in Ludlow until 1865 then Burlington where she was "the first woman to receive state recognition and legislative aid for any work." She and sister Carrie moved to Chicago in 1885 where she was an author and publisher.

+ 1729 viii. Lydia Washer HEMENWAY was born 6 February 1830.

1730 ix. Carrie Elizabeth HEMENWAY was born in Ludlow, Windsor, VT June 30, 1834. Carrie died February 9, 1919 in Ludlow, Windsor, VT, at 84 years of age. She married Capt. Lemuel PAGE. Lemuel was born April 20, 1821. Lemuel was the son of Lemuel PAGE and Clarisa WHITNEY. Lemuel died January 18, 1903 at 81 years of age. His body was interred in Ludlow, Windsor, VT.
