1081. Adelia Diana⁸ BARTON (Bazaleel⁷, Peter⁶, Bezaleel⁵, Samuel⁴, Samuel³, Matthew², Edward¹) was born in Croydon, Sullivan, NH October 29, 1816. Adelia died November 18, 1882 at 66 years of age.

She married Moses HURD December 15, 1833 in Newport, Sullivan, NH. Moses was born December 13, 1808 in Lebanon, Grafton, NH. Moses was the son of Elias HURD and Jane THURSTON. Moses died February 22, 1869 in Newport, Sullivan, NH, at 60 years of age. Moses was employed.

Adelia Diana BARTON and Moses HURD had the following children:

2274 i. Melissa S.⁹ HURD was born May 6, 1834. Melissa died May 1839 at 5 years of age. She married Ira Persons SMITH 24 January 1860. Ira was born 29 May 1835 in Langdon, NH.

2275 ii. Sumner Florentine HURD was born January 13, 1837.

2276 iii. Hannah Jane HURD was born April 11, 1839.

2277 iv. Melissa HURD was born August 9, 1841.

2278 v. Ziba HURD was born July 27, 1843.

2279 vi. Horace Powers HURD was born July 1847. Horace died November 1851 at 4 years of age.

2280 vii. Horace Eben HURD was born October 4, 1853.
