2035. James Pyper⁸ BIRD (Elgiva⁷ BARTON, Alfred⁶, Flint⁵, Edmund⁴, Samuel³, Matthew², Edward¹) was born August 21, 1871. James died 10 July 1947 at 75 years of age.⁽¹⁷¹⁵⁾ His body was interred 1947 in Northfield, Rice, MN.⁽¹⁷¹⁶⁾

He married Nina Allene WILBER June 25, 1902. Nina was born April 4, 1876. Nina died 9 August 1959 at 83 years of age.

James was employed. James was professor of Romance Languages at Carleton College in Northfield Minnasota and supplied much of his Grandfather Alfred's family information to the NEHGR.

James Pyper BIRD and Nina Allene WILBER had the following children:

3497 i. James Wilbur⁹ BIRD was born 1908. James died 23 April 1936 at 27 years of age.

3498 ii. Carolyn B. BIRD was born 24 January 1915. Carolyn died 18 February 1991 in Albuquerque, Bernalillo, NM, at 76 years of age. She married George Earl MARTINDALE.
