He married twice. He married Mary R. ROBBINS 1882. Mary was born 24 January 1860 in WI. Mary died 1883 in WI, at 23 years of age. Mary died in childbirth with George.

He married Mary Anne SMITH 1 November 1888 in Ewington, Jackson, MN. Mary was born 1 April 1861 in England. Mary died 1 November 1908 in Aitkin, MN, at 47 years of age.

Luman is listed as a lodger in Charles BURTON's household in the 1930 census in Kansas City, Jackson, MO. In 1920 Luman was in a rooming house in Kansas City and working as an auto mechanic.
