She married Thaddeus Augustus CHICK 10 September 1849 in Augusta, Kennebec, ME.⁽⁹⁹⁹⁾ Thaddeus was born 04 January 1823 in Bangor, Penobscot, ME. Thaddeus was the son of Jacob CHICK and Sarah Sally CLARD.

Martha Augusta BARTON and Thaddeus Augustus CHICK had the following children:

1933 i. Frances Anna⁸ CHICK was born in Augusta, Kennebec, ME 26 October 1850. She married Samuel Rogers FULLER 22 February 1871.

1934 ii. Charles Barton CHICK⁽¹⁰⁰⁰⁾ was born in Augusta, Kennebec, ME 04 July 1854. He married Sarah P. OWEN 25 December 1882 in Augusta, Kennebec, ME.

+ 1935 iii. Sarah Wheeler CHICK was born 11 January 1861.

1936 iv. Carlton Blair CHICK was born in Augusta, Kennebec, ME 13 May 1863. Carlton died September 1863 at less than one year of age.

1937 v. Leigh Carlton CHICK was born in Augusta, Kennebec, ME 07 March 1866. Leigh died 1932 at 66 years of age.

1938 vi. Martha Augusta CHICK was born in Augusta, Kennebec, ME 20 August 1871. She married Joseph F. YOUNG 25 October 1893 in Augusta, Kennebec, ME. Joseph becam head of the Maine State Police.
