801. Capt. David⁷ BARTON (Stephen⁶, Stephen⁵, Edmund⁴, Samuel³, Matthew², Edward¹) was born in Oxford, Worcester, MA August 15, 1808.⁽⁹⁷⁰⁾ David died March 12, 1888 in Oxford, Worcester, MA, at 79 years of age.⁽⁹⁷¹⁾

He married Julia Ann Maria PORTER September 30, 1839 in Vienna, Kennebec, ME.⁽⁹⁷²⁾ Julia was born January 23, 1814 in Vienna, Kennebec, ME. Julia was the daughter of Benjamin PORTER and Pamela BARTON. Julia died July 14, 1899 in North Oxford, MA, at 85 years of age.

David was listed as the head of a family on the 1850 Census in Oxford, Worcester, MA.⁽⁹⁷³⁾ David was listed as the head of a family on the 1880 Census in Oxford, Worcester, MA.
