251. Joshua⁶ BARTON (Timothy⁵, Joshua⁴, Samuel³, Matthew², Edward¹) was born in Oxford, Worcester, MA December 28, 1773. Joshua died 11 February 1825 in Westhampton, Hampshire, MA, at 51 years of age.

He married Sally BOND Vaughn? 27 January 1799. Sally was recommended to the church in Sugargrove, NY in 1836.

Joshua was listed as the head of a family on the 1820 Census in Northampton, Hampshire, MA. Joshua was "of Worthington" when he married Sally. They moved to Otsego, NY where three children were born :Joshua Allen, Leonard M. and Hiram P. They returned to Chesterfield for a short time and then to Norwich where Sarah Malvina was born later moving to Westhampton.
