He married Hepsabeth BAKER November 12, 1789 in Royalston, Worcester, MA.(258) Hepsabeth was born September 1768 in Walpole, MA. Hepsabeth was the daughter of Micah BAKER and Elizabeth WHITTEMORE. Hepsabeth died February 13, 1826 in Croydon, Sullivan, NH, at 57 years of age.(259)

Peter was listed as the head of a family on the 1790 Census in Royalston, Worcester, MA. He was listed as a resident in the census report 1820 in Croydon, Sullivan, NH. Peter is found in the 1800 census at Croydon with 4 males under age 10, 3 females under 10, 1 female 10-16 and presumably his wife age 26-45. His grave is marked with a DAR marker indicating revolutionary war service.

child 460 viii. Hiram BARTON was born in Croydon, Sullivan, NH circa 1801. Hiram died 1802 in Croydon, Sullivan, NH, at 1 year of age.(261)

child 461 ix. Rebecca BARTON was born in Croydon, Sullivan, NH circa 1803. Rebecca died September 16, 1835 at 32 years of age. She married Clark ROWELL September 5, 1835 in Springfield, Sullivan, NH.(262)
