12. Mary3 BARTON (William2, Edward1) was born in York, York, ME circa 1673. Mary died October 18, 1736 in Newbury, Essex, MA, at 63 years of age.

She married Soloman HOLMAN before 1694. Soloman was born circa 1661. Soloman died May 7, 1753 in Newbury, Essex, MA, at 91 years of age. Soloman was employed. Coffin, in his History of Newbury, says that Soloman and his wife arrived in Newbury about 1693 or 94. Mary was of Old York.

Mary BARTON and Soloman HOLMAN had the following children:

child 40 i. Mary4 HOLMAN was born in Newbury, Essex, MA January 26, 1694/1695. Mary died July 20, 1728 in Newbury, Essex, MA, at 34 years of age.

child + 41 ii. Soloman HOLMAN, Jr. was born November 25, 1697.

child 42 iii. Edward HOLMAN was born in Newbury, Essex, MA January 26, 1699/1700. Edward died 12 May 1742 at 43 years of age. He married Hannah EMORY. Hannah was born 19 January 1706 in Newbury, Essex, MA.

child 43 iv. Elizabeth HOLMAN was born in West Newbury, Essex, MA 24 October 1701.(17) Elizabeth died January 1703 in Newbury, Essex, MA, at 1 year of age.

child 44 v. Elizabeth HOLMAN was born in West Newbury, Essex, MA 14 March 1703.(18) Elizabeth died 13 September 1727 at 24 years of age. She married William ANDERSON 28 October 1725.

child 45 vi. John HOLMAN was born in West Newbury, Essex, MA 24 October 1705.

child 46 vii. Sarah HOLMAN was born October 1707. Sarah died October 1707 at less than one year of age.

child 47 viii. Ruth HOLMAN was born December 1708. Ruth died January 1709 at less than one year of age.

child 48 ix. Rachel HOLMAN was born 23 September 1710. She married Samuel WATERS 13 November 1729.

child 49 x. Sarah HOLMAN was born 8 May 1713. She married Abel CHASE.

child + 50 xi. Anna HOLMAN was born 25 April 1715.

child 51 xii. Thomas HOLMAN was born in West Newbury, Essex, MA 24 June 1717.
