He married Sarah COVEL 29 JUL 1761 in Oxford, Worcester, MA. Sarah was born 18 January 1739 in Killingly, CT. Sarah died 30 January 1832 in New Salem, Franklin, MA, at 93 years of age.

Isaac BARTON and Sarah COVEL had the following children:

326 i. Abraham⁶ BARTON was born in Oxford, Worcester, MA August 15, 1762. Abraham died November 28, 1768 in Oxford, Worcester, MA, at 6 years of age.

327 ii. Isaac BARTON was born in Oxford, Worcester, MA September 21, 1766. Isaac died December 12, 1768 in Oxford, Worcester, MA, at 2 years of age.⁽¹⁶⁷⁾
