280. Asa⁶ BARTON (John⁵, Caleb⁴, Samuel³, Matthew², Edward¹) was born in Oxford, Worcester, MA May 21, 1747.⁽³²⁸⁾ Asa died before 1785 in Jay, ME.

He married Mercy BARTLETT 1 February 1770 in Newton, Middlesex, MA.⁽³²⁹⁾ Mercy was born 26 January 1750. Mercy was the daughter of Ebenezer BARTLETT and Anna BALL.

Asa BARTON and Mercy BARTLETT had the following children:

+ 671 i. Aaron Stow⁷ BARTON was born 5 September 1771.

+ 672 ii. Eunice BARTON was born 12 March 1772.
